Richard van de Sluis 
Richard van de Sluis is a Senior Scientist and Project Manager at Philips Research Europe. He has many years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary research and innovation projects in the area of user interaction and user experiences. He has published various publications and holds over 90 patent application filings in the areas of user interaction, connected homes, ambient intelligence, content management, wake-up experiences, atmosphere creation and shopping experiences.Richard has played a key role in the realization and exploitation of the ShopLab, which is part of Philips ExperienceLab. In the last couple of years he has worked on the creation of innovative Shopping Experiences, ranging from flexible atmosphere creation, interactive store elements to interactive Shop Windows. This has resulted in a new business venture within Philips.
