Stelios Giannoulis

Stelios Giannoulis earned his B.A. in Mass Media and Communication at the National University of Athens, Greece and his M.Sc. in Media Technology at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands.
His previous research focused on affective computing and on elicitation of relaxation and happiness through different sensory stimuli and measurement of physiological responses.

He gained work experience in different mass media working as a journalist for newspapers and TV stations in Greece. He has worked freelance as a broadcast engineer for three Olympic Games in Athens 2004, in Beijing 2008 and in Vancoucer 2010.

Stelios is currently working as a Research Associate at the School of Computing and Communications, Lancaster University. His research is focused on physiological responses, context awareness and problem solving in creative environments.
